 Rob was humbled to be recognized with the following:

 
bulletWilliam E. Mayer Finalist for May, Military Writers' Society of America
bulletMWSA does a monthly writing contest in which the society provides the topic and the writers submit whatever type of work they want that goes with the topic.  In April 2010 the topic was "family."  Rob's essay "Aliens Raised my Brother" was selected as the winner.  As such, he was eligible for the William E. Meyer prize for 2010, awarded every year by MWSA.

 

bullet2009 President's Award, Military Writers' Society of America
bulletRob was co-winner of the society's prestigious President's Award, for service to the organization and to military writers in general.

 

bullet2007 Gold Medal Award, Military Writers' Society of America
bulletRob's first book, GOD DOES HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR, received the 2007 Gold Medal for Humor award.
